These bowls were wheel thrown from beautiful brown speckled stoneware clay, then a clay bone was cut from a clay slab and attached to the side of the bowl. The bowls were fired in an electric kiln, then glazed and fired again. The bone remains unglazed, to show off the beauty of the dark brown clay.
Approx 5.5" wide and 1.5" tall
These bowls are shallow, and perfect for a variety of uses. If you don't want to use them as pet bowls, place on on your nightstand for jewelry, fill it with dip or candy at your next party. Sit it near your door to hold your keys.

Riverlane Studios small-batch and bespoke pottery is handcrafted in my home studio in Columbus, Ohio. All wares are functional and food safe, as well as safe for use in the oven, microwave and dishwasher (unless otherwise noted in the listing). They’re all wheel-thrown or hand-built from stoneware ceramic clay and fired (twice) in an electric kiln.
Stoneware pottery is durable and versatile, but sensitive to sudden changes in temperature and should never be used on the stovetop. Custom and personalized orders
Custom ceramic orders take 2-6 weeks to complete and are subject to an additional fee. Additional processing time may be required if materials must be designed or ordered from a third party. Send me a message to inquire about current processing time, as it varies depending on season, current workload and type of item requested.
Payment is required before work can begin the project. Delay in payment may cause a delay in delivery time.
Custom orders are not returnable. If you receive your item damaged, or not as expected, please contact Riverlane Studios. I'll do my best to correct or replace the item, or make it right.
Wholesale availability
Please contact us with requests for wholesale items. Pricing and availability is negotiable. Extra processing time may be required.
Sizing details
Items are photographed in the maker's hands or with a ruler to show actual size. Measurements are also detailed in the description of the product, including volume in fluid ounces for all drink ware.

Care instructions
All ceramic drink and dinner wares are oven, microwave and dishwasher safe (unless otherwise noted in the description).
Personalization on ceramic holiday ornaments is scratch and abrasion resistant, but should not be soaked, intentionally scraped/scratched or washed in the dishwasher, as this personalization is often added after the ware is fired.

Bulk Orders
Bulk orders may require additional processing time. Please send us a message with the details of your request and we'll come up with a price and timeline that works for you. A deposit will be required to begin work on your order.
